20th Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation

Venue and travel

The congress venue has not been contracted yet. How you reach Ahmedabad is already settled, so that part is below and you can start planning around it.

The venue

Coming soon

ISOT publishes the venue once it is contracted. Nothing is named here until then, because a venue announced early and changed later is worse than one announced late.

The convention centre
Which halls host the plenaries and the parallel sessions, with floor plans and capacities.
Exhibition space
The trade exhibition floor, stand sizes and the layout for sponsors and exhibitors.
Accessibility
Step free routes, assistance on request, and quiet and prayer space inside the venue.
Hotels
Negotiated delegate rates across several price bands, with distances and transfer times.

Getting here

Flying into Ahmedabad

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is the busiest airport in Gujarat and sits on the north side of the city, close enough that most delegates will be at their hotel within the hour.

International flights use Terminal 2 and domestic flights use Terminal 1. The two terminals are about 2 km apart, so leave time between a connecting domestic leg and an international departure.

Getting into the city

Prepaid taxis and app based cabs run from both terminals, and the city has a metro and a bus rapid transit network. Transfer advice tied to the congress hotels follows once the venue is announced.

Visas and invitation letters

Entry requirements depend on your nationality, so check with the Indian mission in your country. Invitation letters for registered delegates are issued through the secretariat once registration opens.
